I just downloaded a trial of Cool Edit 2000. I have installed it a couple times and still get the message - This system has not been configured correctly to run Cool Edit. Please run setup again. -
How many time must I reinstall this puppy??? I have Dell running on XP with a Soundblaster card. This is the first program I've had problems with. Any help? cs

Got any other ideas? I uninstalled the program. I even made system files available. I also followed this method and it still doesn't work. s

HEY, attention! I just tried the uninstall program in the syntrillium folder instead of stepping through the control panel's way of unistalling programs and this program is working now, also I started the program another way before I tried the exit button suggested with the finish of installing. I went right to the start button and accessed the program before exiting the last installation promt. Which of the two new *tricks* which made this work, I don't know.
