Hi,
I am trying to get the audio from 3 DV cameras filming the same event to run synchronous.
for that I put the audio on different tracks but then I cant MOVE them on the tracks - I know it MUST be dead simple - but I just cant do it.
anybody?
thanx

You right-click on the track and drag it. Good luck with synchronising it - you are going to need it, because if the camera master clocks weren't locked, the sync is going to drift anyway. Most people find that they have to break long tracks up into short segments, and resync.

thanx steve,
if I RIGHT click on the track I get a pop-up menu
I also tried the obvious other options, holding down alt, shift, ctrl
while left-clicking
any other options?

You hold the right button down and then drag the file to its new position.
If it doesn't move, check that it's not 'Locked In Time' (that's on the right click menu, youv'e already found).

I was too slow - if I right click and QUCKLY move it works, if I wait I get the menu - kinda tricky :-)

What is the problem with doing what I said in the first place? Right-click and drag means keep holding the mouse-key down, and move the mouse right or left. You have all the time you want to do this - click and drag is a basic Windows concept, isn't it? If you click and release, you get the menu...
