haaarvey Posts: 3	Posted - Sun Jun 01, 2003 3:54 pm  Hi everyone, I am new to Cool Edit Pro and need some help. When recording cassette tapes from Line In, is there a way to have the program automatically detect the silences between tracks and split them for me? Thanks in advance Steve M
jonrose Location: USA Posts: 2901	Posted - Sun Jun 01, 2003 4:08 pm  No, I'm afraid you'll just have to spend a few minutes dropping the cues in yourself - you can then highlight all the cues in the cue list and use the merge function to make them into ranges, then batch them out to separate files. As Jon says, if you want a result, you have to make a bit of effort. And hey, you might actually learn something about CE! I'd check out the tutorials as well, if I were you. _________________
