I have windows 2000, just re-installed cooledit 2000 with the multi track plugin. it was working before I reinstalled it, but another error, that is gone now, was there. when I try to play a file in cool edit, it gives me this error. The specified format is not supported or cannot be translated. Use the Capabilities function to determine the supported formats.
and it wont play it. I have tryed reinstalling, but still get same error. Could anyone help me out plaese?
Thanks

Hmmm... Well, you know, I think the first thing I'd try to do at this point is to uninstall/reinstall your audio card driver. This may or may not solve the problem, but it's certainly worth a try. Let us know if this is still giving you some grief after you try that. This sounds suspiciously like a driver issue, for some reason....
;)
Best... -Jon
