how come my cool edit wont save when i add effects to it? like echo effects or reverb.... after I add them to it the save option greys out... Its kind of frustrating and I lost a lot of work due to it :(
also, is there a way to get the "demo" things such as the removing of pops and such without having the dings in it? thanks much

no one here can help me? its really annoying because i cant edit the music at all without it greying out the box that lets me save......

Suonds like you have a demo version with dings and no save. The only solution is to buy the full version.
