Hi all,
I'm a new CEP user and finding the archives on these forums a terrific source of information.
Here's my question: is there a way to have a default checked setting for "save extra non-audio information" in the "save" dialogue box? I looked through the "settings" and didn't see such a thing. I'm interested because I just discovered that if I don't check it I lose all of the cue list, etc. info in a file. [It actually took me 3 tries--setting and losing the cues--to figure it out!] So to make sure that I don't overlook it again I was hoping for a way to keep it checked as a default.
And, from the perspective of a beginner who's been spending a lot of time browsing the forums, I applaud your willingness to respond to questions even when they've been answered before. Although you may be frustrated when [if?] people don't research the question before coming to the forums, I find when I read old posts that different responses to the same questions often present the info a bit differently.
Thanks,
jplanet

I don't believe there's a default setting for that...
However, once you've checked this box, it's been my experience that this setting will "stick" until you (or something else, somehow) changes it. Just be sure to actually check this before (or when actually recording) a script, if you happen to be using them.
Best... -Jon
