When I try to record a second guitar track over the first one, I play it all back and the two tracks are way out of sync. I'm guessing my problem is that I am recording on my delta and then playing the sound out my onboard sound while recording on the delta. Is running the signals to different places causing this to be way off?

That could be a likely scenario... Out of curiosity, why don't you disable the onboard soundcard and just use the Delta? That would seem to solve the latency issue.

Agreed - but you don't necessarily have to disable the onboard sound - you can just relegate it to playing Windoze system sounds (if you still have those enabled) and silly things like that.
There's no way to get a clock sync signal between the Delta and the mainboard chip - onboard sound has neither the connection nor the facility for such a feat!
;)
Best... -Jon
