I am getting streaming audio in Windows Media Player, and would like to record it. Can CEP do this? Thanks

I would have thought that if you set the Windows Mixer to record from "wave" (or "what you hear" or whatever your local version offers) you should get a result. If that's all you want to do, it's a bit of a sledgehammer and nut situation, but hopefully it would lead you on to further things. Download the trial and see what it does for you.

Thanks, I tried that, but got an error message:
MMSYSTEM032

You could try what I've just suggested for recording soundfont output on another thread - link the output from you soundcard to the input, play the streaming audio in WMP, and record the output in CEP.

I've always found that the easiest way to record streaming audio is to record to another source like cassette, DAT or VHS. Then play back that source into CEP. Time consuming? Yup, but it sure is easy.

That error message sounds like you were trying to record at settings your soundcard cannot handle - ensure you have things properly set up in 'Options > Device Properties' and that your record settings are acceptable to the soundcard.
Alternatively, 'TotalRecorder' is good for this task.
