All Forums  Cool Edit  Can't hear/play Wav files

YoMeIoMe Posts: 9	Posted - Wed Apr 02, 2003 9:43 pm  Hi, my WAV audio files on my system are not working, but the compact disc audio works properly. The speakers are connected properly, and all volume settings are correct. Replacing both the sound card and the speakers does not resolve this problem. Can anyone tell me where to troubleshoot next? ozpeter Location: Australia Posts: 3200	Posted - Thu Apr 03, 2003 5:39 am  What sort of 'not working' - for instance, if you play back a Wave file in Cool Edit, are the meters going? Is this a new system? Did this problem suddenly occur or did you never get wave playback? Have you tried various programs for playback? Are you quite sure you've got the Windows Mixer settings correct? - Ozpeter
