Synt: You offered the following link when asked about the upgrade to CEP1.2a.
http://www.syntrillium.com/cep/new12a.htm
One thing in that link which caught my attention was a reference to NR being 3x faster than before. That got me to wonderin'... how does that compare with the performance I get with my CE2K software?
I had thought that CE2K had the same basic program structure, but that CEP offered more flexibility and many more built-in features. Now I'm wondering; is it just NR that is faster, or are other transforms faster as well, or do the NR features actually work better (less artifacts, better click reduction, etc.)?
I'd have been hard pressed to justify the more than $300 additional cost for my needs, but it may be a significant consideration for someone who has greater needs, and who is wrestling with the "CEP or CE2K?" decision.

NR filter in CEP 1.2a and CE2000 v1.1 are exactly the same. We used the same code to make both of them. So if CEP 1.2a NR is 3x faster, CE2000 version 1.1 NR is also 3x faster. This is because we released these two programs at the same time and they share many of the same codes.

That's great news, thanks for satisfying my curiosity. (P.S. this forum sure is great!).
