kalyan Posts: 3	Posted - Sun Mar 25, 2001 2:46 pm  hi i used cool edit a week ago, and i changed sample/bit configuration (i.e 44100, 16-bit stereo), when ever i play cd or any song from any other site, i cant hear any songs but noice. i even forgot where sample/bit configuration menu is,pl let me know that

File>New lets you change your sample rate and bit rate. As far as playing a CD from another site...I don't know what you mean. IF you are trying to open a .CDA file in Cool Edit, this can't be done because .CDA is not an audio file format; it is simply a marker that windows creates to use for track numbering on an audio CD. The audio will have to be extracted (using a 3rd party ripper) or you can record the CD directly into Cool Edit. You can also change sample and bit rates by going to Edit>Convert Sample type ---Syntrillium Support _________________
