Hi, guys. I'm new to cool edit, and while i find it fairly straight-forward, i do have a question concerning sync. I record and sequence drum tracks, as well as piano, strings, etc on a yamaha w7 workstation. i want to record each instrument on a seperate track in cool edit, which means i have to make multiple starts from the beginning of the song. how do i get cool edit to begin recording when i start the sequencer? forgive me if this question has been answered before, but i didn't see anything on the forum about this specifically. thanks,
Guitar Ed

Hi ED...your best bet would be to write us an email directly. We'll send you a list of settings and explanations. Usually, it boils down to being able to configure your outboard gear (your W7) to act as master and send out the timecode. Once that's in place, setting a basic offset will get Cool Edit to sync.
