I've just upgraded my OS from win98 to win2k, reinstalling everything, including ce2000. It always worked fine with win98, but on win2K there are no numbers on the levelmeters, on the timescale (below the graph) or on the value-scale (right of the graph). Any idea what is going on here?

You may be missing the MS Sans Serif font that it uses. The Win2k upgrade is OK. But I would wipe the drive out and install it clean. There is quite a big difference the way the setup runs when it is clean versus a dirty upgrade install. Upgradeing NT4 to 2K is really hokey it retains alot of the NT4 traits.

It's a clean install of win2K, so that's not it. It gets even stranger: if I run CE2K as Administrator, it works fine. After that, it works fine for normal users as well, until the next reboot. Maybe there is a problem loading the font...

FIXED! Got some nice utilities to track which files are being opened by who (www.sysinternals.com), and cool2000 was trying to open arialn.ttf and failed on that. Permissions were set for system and admin only, so I allowed everyone to read that file, now it works fine! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
