Hi,
I'm looking for a Good Vocoder Plugin for Cooledit 2000
so that I change voices into Robot voices.
I tried a demo of Orange Vocoder, but didn't work

Hello.
There is a really neat DirectX vocoder-type plugin that is pretty popular. It is called the RBC Voice-Tweaker. I've enclosed the URL below. It's fairly inexpensive and really does the trick. Check it out.

There are others that just do 'strict' vocoding (and even include some of the Roland algorithms. But you'll have to do a search for those.)

That's not really a "vocoder", eh? I thought it was more of an Autotune clone.
Here's a vocoder I've used in the past and liked. It's not a plugin, it's a standalone app. I have a few hardware vocoders so I don't use software ones much, but this one has some neat features.

There's also a vocoder by Arboretum Systems...not the greatest, but fairly inexpensive and bundled with lots of other stuff.

rbc voice tweaker is great.. works great for what it was meant for, and it's also fun for usng other things.. like formant shiftng drums etc for effects :)
I used it to mangle a piano sound for some music i wrote for a theatre production.
If you want to hear it:

and listen to Ugly Edith's piano solo

Hey Lavoll - Just wanted to say that I really dug the 'Ugly Edith' track...
Nice use of the RBC plug-in..also, nice imaging; great reverb.
Keep up the good work.
