Anyone? (Releasing ASIO driver)

I just upgraded to AU3 this week. I have noticed a couple things that are well... Bizarre...
1st. Weather I am listening or rolling audio and toggle to another page like my e-mail or anything for that matter, AU3 just stops. However the VU's freeze to the level where they were at when I toggled too the other window. This has never been an issue in the past. I have worked on every platfrom from CE pro and on.
Also-
 When I save a file, there is no bracket for the file name, it pop's up in the file destination window, and should you change the destination before you name the file, you have to start from scratch. This is getting really old, really quick.

Is anyone else going through similar situations?

In File>Audio Hardware setup, take the check out of 'Release ASIO Driver in Background', then it will continue to function when you click away.

And I don't understand what your file saving problem is. I don't have one - it behaves as it always has.

Thanks so much, the first prob has been solved!!! As far as the save thing goes.
When I go to save a file, the bracket where you would normally name the file, shows up at the in the middle of the "Save box" (where the files that have already been saved are) and if I don't name it before I change the Save destination- that even disappears. I have never seen anything like this before.

I have to confess I still don't fully understand what the save problem is?  It works the same way as it always had, for me.

It's hard to explain. So here goes.
When you name your file to save in the "File Name" region above the "save as file type" region on the save screen, there is no "file name" box to fill out.
It "Floats" in the section that holds the already saved files. Plus should you change the file "Save in" destination before you name it, the "floating" file name disappears.

Again, hard to explain, and hope this makes sense.

MM, sounds like a GUI issue that I'd guess is Windows-related.  Options: uninstall/reinstall Audition; check for graphics card driver update. 

Can you post a screen shot of the problem?

Not sure how to. I had out IT guy look into it. Just re-installed Au2 and it's doing a similiar thing. It doesn't float like it did with Au3. But its still an issue.

Get the problem on screen.  Push PrtScr (print screen) usually this will place a bmp image of the screen on the windows clipboard.  Open a graphics program (ms paint will do if you have nothing else) paste into a new image.  Save the image. Post the image to the forum.
FWIW, I think a previous poster was correct.  It sounds like some sort of screen redraw problem.  You might try adjusting the level of graphics acceleration in the display properties.
