Routing the master to 2 different outputs
So first I LOVE the AA 3 I just purchased!! I got the academic edition in a few posts below. But, I have a question. I would like to route my master channel to my Layla 20 output of 7/8 and 9/10. I have 9/10 going to my stereo. But I would like to route 7/8 back to my mixer for headphones also. From what I can see, I can add a bus to EVERY channel and route it to 7/8 that way. But I was wondering if there's a way to just route the master instead of my 16 tracks individually. Thanks!

Re: Routing the master to 2 different outputs
It's a little convoluted but you might try taking a hardware output from the Layla back in to an input on the layla. Then use Layla's control panel mixer to pot up the relevant input for each output that you wish to use. I don't believe that there is anyway to double assign the master out from Audition.

The other option is to create a bus (call it 'master' if you like!), and route all your 16 tracks to that bus.
Set the output of that bus to go to Layla 7/8
Set up 'send 1' from the first bus, to go to a new bus called 'hifi'.
Route the output of the 'hifi' bus to Layla 9/10.

Re: Routing the master to 2 different outputs
This is the same problem I had with my Midi Mia. My final solution was to buy a headphone monitor/amp, it has a "through" connector for the speakers and two headphone outputs for monitoring, which ensures you hear the same signal that goes to the speakers. It works very well. The one I have is an S-monitor by Samson.
