Hello,
I have upgraded from AA1.5 to AA3.0.
It seems some  effect tools in AA3.0 are much more limited than in AA1.5 (for example Full Reverb is much stronger tool in 1.5 than in 3.0)
I have tried to put the effects of 1.5 in 3.0 as DirectX or VST plugin, by defining the map containing the .dll files of 1.5 as a VST directory,  but it don't seem to work. Seems I've just lost effect-power....
So, it's not about transferring the presets, but simply using the effect tools of 1.5 in 3.0.

Does anyone have an idea how to  solve this, or can't it be ?

Thanks for your input!
regards, Bart

Which effect parameters are you missing?  The full reverb has gone through an interface transformation since 1.5.  But then again, much of Audition has.

I've just compared FR in 1.5 and 3.0 side by side. The only difference (apart from the interface) is that "Total Length" is now called "Decay Time". There's nothing missing at all.

Interestingly, both defaulted to exactly the same settings, in 1.5 the default preset was "Medium Concert Hall (Open)", for 3.0 it was "Lecture Hall".

It's true that 3.0 comes with fewer presets, but that does come down to transferring presets.

Thanks for the quick reaction.

What I mean is that in Full Reverb AA3.0 the room size is ltd. to 40000m3,  in 1.5 it is 60000 (or even more if I type the value and not use the gliding bar). The total length (or decay time) was 6000ms (even more when typed) and now it's limited to 4000ms.

Which means for example that the 'grand canyon' preset from 1.5 can never be  duplicated in 3.0. Or am I thinking wrong?

Thanks again,
Bart
