I agree.  And if you understand fiddling with knobs better than boxes with numbers and sliders, as Audition has, you'll find a link to these on this site... and free.  Haven't tried them yet but will soon.

The reverb crashes my Sony Vegas, but the "guitar-ish" effects are very good for guitar tracks, which is the extent of my use so far.

No probs with Audition, in multitrack, with 10 tracks and off an external drive.  The ClassicDelay is quite nice also.
