For the guitarists among us IK Multimedia have a pre-order deal on their new Amplitube Fender setup. There are demos and videos on their home site. I am a sucker for their stuff, so I have pre-ordered - more info when I get it in my hot sweaty hands grin afro

Well, I got it and installed it, and love it! You have to be a Fender buff to appreciate it fully I suppose, but the range of sounds available is fantastic and it sounds even better via my strat! grin

Will you be able to get that strat sound using the amplitude strat Without using the strat guitar? I mean can It make the Fender sound image even if I am using different Guitar?

I can't answer that I am afraid, I only have a Strat, but the idea is to emulate Fender hardware and effects, not the guitar so I would guess it would sound like a different guitar played through Fender amps - not bad in itself!

You can get a Strat out of a Les Paul, but you can't get a Les Paul out of a Strat - wrong type of pickup. So if you have some sort of hum-bucking pickup fitted, you can get some way towards a Strat tone by unwiring half of it...
