Er-hum - something really different?
An ad. came on the TV featuring the hook line of Mika's "Grace Kelly". I was listening with half an ear, like you do, not actually watching the TV. I thought, That's great. I can do that! Did I succeed?

Should be a Doctor Who theme.

That's an unexpected first comment! Not quite sure what you mean but, as a real Doctor Who fan myself, I'll take it as a compliment.

Nah, really, it's got that whacky British humour about it that the old shows were known for. It's a little out of my area of expertise, but I thought it was kind of neat.

OK, that's fair enough. Thanks, DeSarda. Or as we British would have said 50 years ago, "Splendid"!!! LOL

Right. Can you elaborate? It'd be more helpful, zemlin...

Re: Er-hum - something really different?
A fun tune, well done. The instrumentation is all obviously MIDI or synth and also has that feel of "it was all done by one guy" as opposed to having a talented bassist and percussionist backing you up.
I think it's fine for what it is - a bit of fun.

Re: Er-hum - something really different?
Rather like "Telstar" , which was a No.1 hit back in 1962 then. What's 45 years between friends?
Actually, you've summed it up better than even I could, zemlin. Thanks for the interesting review and a great reply!
Have a Funday-Monday,
John.
