Hi there!

First of all, please let me introduce myself. I'm Raul, from Barcelona, Spain, I found this forum a few months ago, and this is my first post here (I hope this not the last one, though) I find it's fantastic to be able to share your knowledge regarding audio here for free! I'm learning a lot with all your advices.

Well, I'm just starting to produce jingles for a local radiostation here in Barcelona called Ona de Sants-Montjuïc (www.onadesants.com), something that I haven't done before. I would like to know your opinion about this example, please... It's a promo for our web page, and it's written in Catalan, so I'm sorry if you can't understand what it says... It just reminds people to access to our web to listen to the radio, nothing else...

Thank you all in advance, and I'm sorry for my English, I hope you have understood me  sad

WWW

Raul,

Glad to see you found the forum!  There is a lot of good opinons and information found here.....I downloaded your sample.  Unfortunately I am not bi lingual and I have no idea what the voice overs are saying.  I really dont think I can give you a fair critique without knowing what is said--and--although I do not want to  just assume no one on here knows another language--it is fair to say that unless you find someone on here that knows another language--they probably will not comment on the piece.  I like the sound of the piece.  Is there anyway you can post in English what the VO talents are saying in the piece?

How is Spain this time of year?

Hello people,

Marty, thank you for you answer. Yes, I suppose people can't understand what the VO are saying,so that nobody but you have replied my post. Anyway, that's what the say.

In Catalan:

La radio del barri a les teves mans
connecta't a onadesants.com

--------------------

In English (more or less)

The radio of your neighbourhood is on your hand,
Get connected to onadesants.com

---------------------

As you could hear, there are two different young VO's, a man and a woman, but both of them say the same words (in fact, that's the man who says the hole of the text and she replays some of the words)..

I've just uploaded the file again, you can find it here, now

Thank's in advance!

PS: Marty I have downloaded and I love you demos!
PS2: This time of year Spain begins to be very very hot... but I still recommend you to visit Barcelona now we are on summer time, you'll love it! Wink
