Looks interesting... however, it's VST and can only be used in CEP via a "wrapper".  Not a big problem, but folks should realize that before downloading.   wink

No problem!  wink   Like I alluded to in the other post... being a VST isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just that Cool Edit Pro doesn't support VST.  You can usually get on any Internet Search Engine and type in "free VST wrapper" and get several hits.  The wrapper (for those that don't know) allows an VST effect to be used in a Direct X environment.  SpinAudio has a nice one as are others.   wink

I tried it yesterday on a vocal track and had some nice results. I have created a preset in CEP using their "Theatre (Crisp) preset as a base and tweaking it. I use this on a lot of vocal's. This new plug had some things that I liked about it almost as much, it seemed a little "cleaner" to me. I like the CEP reverbs and will continue to use, I just wanted to add to the toolbox.  I am expecting the same results on a overhead drum track I am getting to try.

Absolutely!  I would say it is well deserved.

Hmmm, can be interesting. I just downloaded it and I'll give it a try one of these days.

But I don't really like the concept of such 'donationware' as they call it.

I prefer normal products and freeware. Then you know what you have to pay (or not pay in the case of freeware Smiley ). Now you can only feel guilty, hehe. Wondering if the donation was enough wink

One can never have enough "tools in the box".  I have loads of plug-ins that are only good for one or two things (should the need arise).  FWIW, after getting the Waves Native Gold Bundle (from the Boss) for X-Mas, I can't imagine every needing any other reverbs.  But... if I do, I still got some in the box!   wink

Another one for the toolbox - thanks!   Haven't tried it yet.  (I like the idea of 'charityware' - if you like the product, you send a cheque to the charity of your choice - eg the excellent 'ZR3' Hammond B3-type softsynth charityware.)

Ala.... EAC (Exact Audio Copy) where used to, all it required was a postcard.

I've now given it a run - on a dry recording of a guitar quartet playing a serene arrangement of the 'Deerhunter' theme - yes, it's well worth having.  I was impressed with the range of sounds obtainable from the presets, given the quite modest range of controls on the interface.  Overall - simple but effective.

And, that was good enough for me!  I downloaded it and will give it a "test drive" when I get some time.  Again, one can never have too many tools in the box!   wink
