Hello everybody, yesterday i noticed some strange behaviour with aud 2 -
I was working with a snare hit. I put an echo to repeat every 1 beat for a while, but every time i pressed ok, the result was pretty weird... it was as if every echo had been faded out half way through, resulting in a clicky double tap. i fiddled for a good couple of hrs without any luck, eventually resorting to using the echo in aud 1.5. Anyone any ideas?

this coupled with the problems i've been having with the mastering rack is very, very infuriating... would go back 1.5 if it wasn't for the multiband compressor and the mixer in 2.

thanks, any help would be appreciated greatly.

Just found the echo still does this in multitrack as well...
Can't seem to solve the problem, so i'm thinking of reinstalling audition.
Does anyone know how i can do this without loosing all of my presets, shortcuts, etc?

thanks,

Tell us exactly the steps you're taking when this happens.

You should be aware that there are some issues with AA's echo.

See this thread: http://audiomastersforum.net/amforum/viewtopic.php?t=5322

We still don't know what the problem is, but yours could be related

Hi, just checked out that other thread... looks like my problem's the same as the one in the thread on the adobe site. No one seems to have found a cure, but it's nice to know that it's not just my machine. I'll keep tabs on that thread.

as for the exact cicumstances, it occurs every time i use the echo effect at all. I don't recall changing any settings recently, either.

thanks very much
