When I import drum loops into MT view, the audio plays faster and sounds like it's "jumping around".  It will play fine in EV, just not MT.  Any ideas what would cause this behavior?

Thanks!

Well, I don't know if this is what's happening in your case, but the symptoms sound to be exactly the same as what happens when you import a file, and beat-slice it to a value that's faster than the original bpm...

Do you have other tracks already open in MV...that happen to be at a different sample rate?

No, no other tracks open Bobbsy, and no beat slicing, Steve.  I re-opened and tried again later, and everything was fine.  I've had this happen on occasion before, back with V1.5 IIRC, so probably not a software problem.

Huh

Thanks for your input, though

Tom, try this... in MV click Edit | Audio Hardware Setup and make sure that your sound card is selected not Audition Windows Sound, and un-check Release ASIO driver in background. This seems to improve things for me.

Thanks BFM, I'll give it a shot when I get home.
