hi guys.
its another one of those newbie questions.
id be very greatful if anyone who could help me out.

I just purchased the new 2.0. Its fantastic, i love it.
I also got Native instruments guitar rig, and im just wondering how to link
the two?
when i use guitar rig as a standalone, i can hear the effects in real time.
but i cant find out how to link it to audition, so that basically.. I could plug in my guitar, find a good sound from the standalone, and then record in real time with that tone, to auditon.

any ideas?

thanks guys

Really the only way to use Guitar Rig in Audition is to play through the standalone version of GR, record the *dry* output in Audition, and then process the resulting track with the plug-in version of GR.

The good part about this is you don't have to commit yourself to the guitar sound at the time of recording. You can tweak away for a hundred years after the fact.Smiley

I would have to disagree with this Chris.  When recording you add GR as an effect on the track to be recorded or on a bus (Note: you won't hear GR until you press record!) . The great thing is you can record the gutar while hearing it through GR, but as it is recorded clean you can change the effect afterwards until you are happy.
Obviously you need a bit of muscle in your PC  wink

Oops - I forgot this was in the 2.0 forum. You can hear the effects rack in real time with 2.0. embarassed

My way is how you have to do it with previous versions of AA.
