Got one for dry broadcast speech, or does the same apply?
Try holding your breath. Works every time. American humor.
Your use is very interesting: live radio. AA2.0 having live abilities, I'd apply above settings and see how you sound. Your mic / distance to the mic / and voice itself are all important as you know. Raising the "Wide Bump" at the low / high ends can't hurt if applied discreetly. The removal of mid harsh frequencies is noticible ~ 324 Hz / ~600Hz mic dependent / upper mids ranging from 1200Hz to 1400Hz - were pointed out to me by people here. A little boost ~3200HZ is great for guitar when you have someone playing live on your show. Nothing carved in stone.
I thought all radio stations compressed / EQ'ed their sound..... Some producers even mix anticipating the damage stations do to music and sound. But then maybe stations use Graphic EQ for ease of use. Regarding compression, I bet you work the mic leaning away when you go loud, closing in when you whisper.
Didn't Bonno say," A whisper is louder than a scream?"
