Can the studio plugin help separate tracks like from a regular music cd? Like for example separate the voice from the music even if it is not recorded in split track. And if it doesn't have this function is there a way to do it in CE2K or any other product?

Thanks

Hi htejeda,

To do this (as far as is possible, which isn't often very far) you don't need the Studio plugin. See this link

'REMOVING VOCALS??'

A useful article is

- also search this forum for 'vocal cut' or 'remove vocals' as this is a very regularly asked question.

This has often been compared to separating the components of a cake which has been baked. In a nutshell (with a certain number of qualifications) you can not remove any one component from a mix.
