And what exactly do you define by "CEP acts as if it recording (...)"? Hint: try to record, for testing, in the editor (single track) windows. See if something shows up... I'm afraid we're going to need some more information here...Let us know the steps you are taking, and what exactly is happening. If you're recording into the MT view and you don't SEE any waveform (before or after hitting record/stop) then, as mentioned, it is likely that you don't have the correct device selected (or, perhaps the correct device is selected, but the wrong input source, ie, Line vs. Mic, etc) ---Syntrillium, M.D. _________________
