Hi, I have a question. Is the ADAT I/O on the Gina 24 card able to be assigned to 8 separate I/O channels? The reason I ask is that I'm considering purchasing a Yamaha 01v with an ADAT option card. The option card is capable of having 8 assignable digital outs, and 8 assignable digital ins. I just want to make sure that the Gina 24 card would work with this. Also, would CEP be able to run with this hardware so that I could be recording 8 tracks of digital audio at once? Thanks! ----------------> Ok, I just found out that the ADAT I/O on the Gina can be assigned to all 8 ins and outs. I guess my question now is simplified to if CEP can work with all this to have recording capabilities of 8 digital audio tracks simultaneously through the ADAT I/O of one Gina 24 card. Thanks.

Hi musicman. In a word...YES.

Using the Gina24, you can assign each pair (or each individual output, for that matter)to it's own track, and record them simultaneously.
