My co-writer and i have a session recorded. Each seperate track is saved as windows PCM, but the session is saved as .ses and doesnt want to be save d as anything other. in what way can way save the session so that we can open it is a wav file in other packages (1 file, all tracks).

You can't open a session in another package. You can open all tracks in another package 2 ways: 1) open each track individually, or 2) create new track, then copy all tracks into it (this will be a HUGE F'ING track). Either way means that you will have to rebuild your session.

You don't specify whether you are working in CoolEdit Pro or 2000, but I'll assume they both will do a "mixdown" of your session to one stereo file. In CE2K there's a toolbar icon to do this, and it's pretty much automatic -- follows the volume, timing, and other settings you've made in the multi-trak session, and puts you into the stereo edit view. You can save it from there as a wave or other format.

You need to 'mix down' your session - that will convert it to a format you can open elsewhere (or transfer to CD).
