I would recommend downloading the upgrade to version 1.2a, so that you also have the latest RMG2 filter... I suggest you try to download and install our latest free Cool Edit Pro update to version 1.2a. You can get it at: http://www.syntrillium.com/cep/new12a.htm IMPORTANT: You MUST have your original retail Cool Edit Pro CD disc and valid serial number to perform this update. After running the downloaded 1.2a update file and start Cool Edit for the first time you will be prompted to insert the original CD and serial number. The updated 1.2a Cool Edit will NOT be able to be run without this verification on the very first launch. Keep in mind, Cool Edit can only encode to RM, it cannot open (decode) real media files. ---Syntrillium, M.D. _________________
