dobro Posts: 342	Posted - Wed Aug 08, 2001 8:29 am  I know the basics about attack and release times when compressing. But I don't understand the gain processor and level detector functions in CEP dynamics processing. What's the difference? What do they do?

"Input Gain" (attack/release tab) This is the gain added to the signal *before* it goes into the Level Detector (the section that detects the current level).
