Hey,
I have CoolEdit 2000 v1.0 or 1.1(not sure) and whenever I try to install the DirectX support plugin, it keeps deleting CoolEdit and then telling me that it can't find CoolEdit installed on my computer (gee, wonder why). Must I upgrade or what? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have the registered version of cool 2000?I can't see why the plug-in would erase cool unless you have the trial version.
