I had all wav files associated with cool edit so that when I double click on a wav it would open up into cool edit. Somehow another program changed that association and I tried to change it back to cool edit. Now when I double click on a wav, it opens in cool edit but it says "cannot find specified file" and cool edit is blank.
Anyone know how to fix this?
thanks

You can re-associate file any and all file types with Cool Edit by simply reinstalling the software. You don't even need to uninstall...simply reinstall the program into the same directory, and check all the file types that you wish to have associated with it during the install screen.
