Hi
Im using Cool Edit Pro V2.0 on a P4 2.66ghz PC running XP Home
Until fairly recently without any poroblems.
However over the last few days CEpro fails to exit cleanly - it clears from the grey screen with titlebar to a white screen with titlebar and hangs - I can only close it from Task Manager and forcing END NOW.
Has anyone any ideas?
latest Direct X patches maybe?

Since it was working, it's most likely related to something you have done. Installed any new software lately? Re-configured something? Downloaded a rogue program of some sort?

I'd recommend upgrading to CEP 2.1. There were a number of fixes from 2.0 to 2.1.
