Hi everybody from Italy!
I recorded a WAV file with CreativeMedia Player Source and now I would edit it with CoolEdit Pro 2. The file is 4.28 GB (more than 10 hours of music) and I cannot open it with CoolEdit (neither with CreativeMedia): it reads only the first 7 minutes! Can you suggest me a way to fix my problem?
Thank you very much!
Fed.

Sounds like you are above the file size limit either for wave files or for you operating system. You might find some advice in this previous thread or try searching the forum for '4GB limit' or similar.

Your recording wrapped around at the 4GB point, so the "first seven minutes" might even be the last seven minutes... ;)
CEP can record larger amounts of data in the Multitrack View (it will just start a new temp file when it fills one up), but you will need to split this data into sections and save it as separate files, in order to stay away from that 4GB .wav limitation.
Best... -Jon
