i'm new working with cool edit, and i'm having a problem
i can't hear anything.
i have tried all sorts of searchs and things but i can't find anything in the help area of the program.
i tried to play the basic drums and trumpet samples that Cool Edit have but i can't hear them, while i can hear music from cd's and the hard disk in my computer, please i need some help with this....
i already extract a song from a cd but i can't hear it either.

I'm afraid this is probably a very basic setup issue...
Have you bothered to set up your input and output device properties under CE's "Options" menu?
And, beyond that, have you read the "tips and tricks" topic which discusses how to set up the Windoze mixer?
Try those items first.
Best... -Jon
