Can you process the voice In CEP Like a radio spot? i mean, I record the voice, process, mix and edit but if i burn my work into a cd, the voice could hear like a Pro Radio Dj? I was hearing many Profesional works for radio and I like the effect in voice process, is not only a pitch change is like Deep voice effect, not like echo or reverb, I appreciate if anybody can tell me tips or tricks to made my voice sound like a Pro Radio Dj, or if is a hardware matter wich process is.....I´m newbie in the use of CEP and sorry for my bad english.....I´m learning english.

This is also one of the topics that comes up here quite frequently.

A three-part answer:

1) CE is used by a lot of radio production people because it is a very capable tool for this purpose.

2) It follows that, anything you need to do to put together radio material can pretty much be done with CE.

3) However, if you don't already have a "radio-voice", there is no hardware or software tool that will make you sound as if you have one. Equalization and compression can certainly help, but there is no universal fix for a speaking voice that is too thin for the radio.

Best... -Jon

... and, just to add to jonrose's comprehensive list, delivery is just as important as the voice. I know of some great voices, but they couldn't deliver their way out of a wet paper bag!

I suppose I assumed delivery in my response, so thanks for pointing that out, Graeme!
:)

BTW, looks like you're in the five-star club.

In fact, (at time of this posting)..... Dbooss has gotten advise from 3 folks with a combined total of 9911 stars experience!! That and $0.35 won't make him sound like a Pro Radio Dj, but might get a cuppa McDonald java. Approve

:???:Well, i thing I have a good voice, i´m a Dj with 14 years of experience mixing in discotheques and movile sounds (social events)and only 5 years in Pc mixing (or remixing how ever it says); in many places people tell me i have a good voice, but my interest is not be a radio dj, I work making ¨Intros¨ or ¨presentations¨ for places, discotheques or movile sound, i have a deep (or wide) voice. I´m interested to give more Presence to my voice, thats all; I´m obsessive with my work, thats why i want to know more triks in CEP, I use another 3 software programs for made my work, in CEP is very difficul to mix music into the Pc (Like a DJ), I have another program for this porpousse, CEP i only use it for effects, recording and spots. I hope understand my question. Thanks for your comments. Big Grin

You wouldn't actually post THE FILE on this forum. You would post a link to a place where the file is. Some folks here have their own websites and post a link leading to it. The majority of others use a website like www.MP3.com to post their work. There are advantages and disadvantages.... if you have your own site (or access to a site) with plenty of storage space, then you can provide your file in an "uncompressed" format (.wav). Unfortunately, most folks don't have that luxury and use MP3 compression (which is lousy) to make their file smaller. The unfortunate part is.... now in their quest to make the file available for download (by using lossy compression), they've "butchered" the file. Disapprove

That's because.... Having a "radio voice" is a matter of either years of development OR, being blessed and having been born with it. If you ain't got it, a mic ain't gonna give to you. Good mic? Sure... they're nice and the really good one's will make a thin weak voice sound just like a thin weak voice!! Wink
