I was at a concer the other day and was allowed to record it. The problem was all I had with me was a $30 recorder and a $1.00 tape. So although the sound actually came out ok there is a lot of hiss on there.

What is the best way to remove this in ce2? There is noise removal, hiss removal, etc. I have tried a few things but I am not that experienced with ce so maybe you can point me to a good faq or some tips.

Yes I know it will never sound like it came from an adat but I am sure it can be better than it is.

Thanks:clown:

Start with Hiss, if you have a cassette tape.

Also, check out the noise redux tutorial, if you want to go more in-depth. It shows how to sample your noise, and remove it.

Be SURE to work with copies of your original. Smile
