OK...so I'm pretty new to this and just use cool edit toget my midi disc recordings onto my computer so I can burn them. It has always worked before, but I updated windows, and redownloaded the program. Now I can't get my files to save. I can't even get the save prompt to appear for me. Am I just an idiot? What's up?

Are we talking CE2000 here? If it's the demo version, you have to select 'save' as one of your options when you start it...

... and you will probably need to redo the program authorisation procedure to get it fully operational again.

Email Synt Support and I'm quite sure they can sort everything out for you. As for being a moron.... I don't know if they can help, but it doesn't hurt to ask them.
