This is a very wordy series of questions..I do voice overs as part of my business. I have noticed latley in my local market that once the audio is received by the client and transferred to beta..the sound quality goes to hades..on the air it lacks presence. This one particular client indicates no problem. I am using cool edit 2000 in regard to this..The client(cable company) uses avid for video..The one thing they always say about my audio is that is is very loud. I have used loudness Eq from time to time..Is this the problem? I have quit sending out audio with any loudness EQ..thinking this could be the cuplret..I also do not use my berringher compressor..thinking this may also muddy up the audio..If any one out there is a real audio expert and would like for me to send a couple of samples using cool edit..one with loudness Eq and one with out loudness EQ(using MP3) I'll do it..No I am not sending audio that shows that it is clipping..Any suggestions..
