I have read the Knowledge Base articles and a few threads in the BBS about the buffer settings in CEP2.0. Is there a set of sure fire settings that will prevent pops and/or skips in a recordig? I do not care about latencies. I can live with 20 or more seconds of latency if I know my data is being written correctly. I have plenty of free RAM, I'd be more than happy to allocate another 100mb to CEP if need be.

If it matters, I will be recording up to 8 channels from a Neundo Multiset ( Firewire ) on a P3/500Mhz running WindowsXP with 384mb RAM. Since the Multiset has its own DSP, the CPU is only at about 15% utilization even with all 8 channels going. 8 channels of 24bit/48Khz should only be about 6,000,000 bytes/sec ( = 760,000 bytes/sec * 8 channels ).

Thanks,
Ron
