I've noticed a wee glitch in Cool Edit 2.0 on a WinME machine. When I've worked on an individual track that is part of a multitrack session, esp. when I've extensively applied effects to two or more tracks in one go (e.g. liberal application of the silence effect here and there), saved all, and gone back to the multitrack view and pressed play, the track(s) often tend to play back out of sync (i.e. not where they used to be). It's only after I rewind the playback to the beginning, and start the playback again, that the wavs sync properly (i.e. it appears to be a temporary glitch/confusion of some kind).
Not a major issue by any measure, but it's just a tad bit annoying to have to rewind and replay to hear the edited tracks in proper sync again. If you're collecting bugs to fix for future revisions, this could be something to look for.
(For reference, the system is a WinME running on a Celeron 700, with 256 megs of RAM, and a fast 20 mb HD - also, I've admittedly been a bit too scared to go and tweak the default performance parameters in the config, but it's worth noting I've not had any other problems running CE2.0 on this machine)
Having said all that, my thanks go to Syntrillium for creating a handy audio tool. It has served me well in my audio projects. Keep up the good work!
