Got the microphone suggested by all, thanks for the imput. I have a registering -36 db 'white noise hiss' in the floor of all vocal beds made with the microphone. (lol sounds like old time tape recorings at the radio station) Suggestions for eliminating??

Sounds like a mic pre-amplification problem.
Are you using the mic with an external mixer/pre-amp or plugging directly into the soundcard - I'd guess the latter.
If this is the case - and assuming the noise floor at line level is OK - then you need a decent external mic pre-amp or mixer. If the noise floor is suspect anyway, buy a decent card.

For few $/DM/Euro you can get a proper quick-and-easy mic-pre-amp for your soundcard.

What sound card are you using? Many consumer models do not have decent preamps, and the mic input is really not designed for mic level signal input.
