After rather more mucking about than I thought there would be, and with some invaluable assistance from RossW (the 1.5 section), I have now compiled a pdf document containing the default keyboard shortcuts for both Audition 1.5 and 2.0

No, they weren't retyped by hand - neither of us is that mad! These have been captured as screengrabs that were compliled into one document, and then put through an OCR system, and the mistakes (hopefully) corrected. I've colour-banded it so that it's easier to read. If you find any errors that I've missed, please let me know and I'll update it.

You can find it on Karl's ftp site at ftp://cooledit:sounds@www.cheap-tracks.com/Audition_Keyboard_Shortcuts/AuditionKeyboardShortcuts.PDF

*update*
There is now also a listing of all of the functions that you can apply to the Add Cue and Metronome buttons on the Red Rover. A question about this came up on the Adobe forum, so I did the same thing again, with a separate listing for 1.5 and 2.0. You can find it here:

That's handy, especially for searching for a particular one.

I keep an exported backup of my amended keyboard shortcuts from the registry - for instance, for version 2.0 they seem to be at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Audition\2.0\Prefs\Keys\en_US\[Custom]

and for version 1.5 at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Audition\1.5\Prefs\Keys\en_US\[Custom]

Er.. well, a few OCR errors in the AA2 section (I've not looked at the 1.5 section):-

Edit Set To Clipboard 1 Ctrl-|l - should be Ctrl+1
Options Synchronise Cursor Across Windows t. . . - last word is toggle. No default shortcut.
Window Workspace Maximum Session (DuaI Monitor) - should be "Dual".

And to be really picky, a couple of "Alt"s are "AIt". (I don't think you can see that in the pdf file), and "Shift" has inconsistently become "shift" occasionally.

I do have a life. Honest.

Thanks. I edited this viewing it from the screen (not a good way to do it for me), and I thought I'd caught most of the AIts - it was pretty consistent at getting I/l wrong. Similarly with the missing word ends... Mostly, this was a visibility thing. The almighty mess it made of the + sign was amazing - it came out as something like -l every time, and these were usually pretty easy to spot, but not always, obviously!

Shouldn't that have said 'did have'?  Tongue  evil (I used to have one too!)

Okay, the revised version (with a couple of other things sorted out as well) is now posted (same link). Let's see what alanofoz can find this time... (actually there is one thing I've spotted, but it's so trivial that I'll let it stand - but if he actually spots it, then I'll know he hasn't got a life!)

Now that's a challenge. Not sure I want to live up to it though.

I did find one other thing. The OCR missed it altogether, probably thought it was a flyspot:-

View Maximize Frame - the shortcut key is `.

No, don't try to clean that spot off your screen...

Oh well, I'll add that one too (yes it did miss it completely). But the one I found is bigger than that... I'll wait and see if you can find any more, and then redo it for the last time.

In that case, I'll put you out of your clearly abject misery - on the last page, near the top it says (mm:ss.dd) and of course it should say (mm:ss.ddd)

Obvious, really...  Tongue

Great! Which bit are you offering to help with?

We need a scripting guide - can you do a detailed one of those?
