Whether you're into loop-based music, or simply trying to add a more modern, nowadays approach to your compositions/productions, looping is a great way to start

Did you know that you can download thousands of loop files and music beds, in more than 20 different styles including more than 50 different instruments? AND...did you know that this content is royalty free? It is, and it's all original, new content, recorded and designed for use with Adobe Audition*.

http://www.adobe.com/special/products/audition/loopology.html

These loops make it easy to put together a great-sounding composition or soundtrack, even if you have no previous experience in music. They include many types of instruments from drums, guitar, and bass to the classic sounds of vintage Moog synths; from upright acoustic basses to the ethereal and earthy tones of a Chinese hammered dulcimer. Mix and match them with ease in Adobe Audition with the easy-to-use Multitrack View to create underscore, music beds, and anything else you can imagine.

The beauty with our loop collection is that we've tried to present you with lots of stylistic interpretation by using actual live performances. What does this mean? Well, essentially that nothing is artificially generated/sequenced via midi or computer. Everything, every file, is played (in some fashion) and because of that, you have a great deal of rhythmic and melodic variation, and lots of human feel.

Of course, we also offer (particularly in the Techno/Dance and Urban/R&B collections) a bit more of the straight-four-to-the-floor kinds of beats and patterns; but again, all played, all performed, and all ROYALTY FREE!!!

Did you also know that you can still use your existing loop collections (whether from Acid or some other loop source)? It's true...and it's never been easier to create your own loops as well!!

It's all within your reach.

*(mod note: MD is being a bit modest here - he actually did all the work!)

As an update...

"Durin" of Adobe wrote:-

"Audition 3.0 doesn't contain any new loop material. If you already have the DVD from Audition 2.0, I would recommend saving yourself a 4 gigabyte download.

However, if you're upgrading from an older version, I highly recommend updating Loopology. With Audition 2.0, all loops are now uncompressed WAV files. Prior to that, they were in MP3 format".
