hello everyone,
i am newbie to midi and i am editing a world war 2 semi documentary-radio novel that features:
footsteps explosions and a plethora of effects i generated in mp3,
i have an m-audio axiom 49 keyboard and i want to assign some of the mp3s  to specific keys...that way i will be able to change the decay and sync some efects with the images  i generate the soundtrack by doing it "on the fly" as the video plays,

my question:

HOW do I assign mp3 files to my midi keyboard?
Is there a plug in that does it?

again , i know midis are not mp3s  ad i hope my question is not too basic ...and honestly,
 all your help is appreciated

You need a MIDI software sample player of some sort to do that. Most MIDI Sequencer software contains one these days. But you can't really do it with a plugin to Audition.

WWW

You need a sample player VSTi. Most software that supports VSTi's comes with something suitable - apart from Audition.

Cheers

James.
