As I recall, some time ago, Adobe warned about some incompatibility problems between AA and Windows XP SP2.  Is that still the case, or has that all been resolved?

Never had any problems with XP SP2 and all subsequent updates. I have two XP SP2 boxes with AA2; before that I used AA1.5 also without problems. Make sure to use the right soundcard drivers and/or Asio4All.

Steve G and others (including me) have run every version we possibly can on XP SP2.  Presently there's CEP1.2a, CEP2.1, AA1.5, and AA2.0 on my system.  And CE2000 and earlier are pretty much OK too from others' reports.

Go for it and enjoy.  Stay away from Vista.
