Actually I am very disappointed with the functionality of BFD. It sounds fantastic, but getting to record ant track is a nightmare. I have tried AA, FL6, Cubase SX3 with DXi, Rewire and VST. I can now get the four group tracks to mixdown OK in Cubase, but I have had to send a mail to their tech support because I can't see how anyone can use this, unless there is one special application it works really well in and evryone assumes you have it.

Some information I gleaned from another BFD user was that it might work okay if you run it as a VSTi with AA2.0, which involves 'wrapping' it, effectively.

Apparently the answer is to use EnergyXT as a VST effect, and use it within that, as I understand it. EnergyXT has to be inserted into an empty waveform in MV, or you get no sound or sync.

I must stress that I haven't tried this at all yet, but it looks potentially interesting anyway.

Indeed Steve and if it's workable, £30 doesn't break the bank. At least there's a Demo Cheesy

I haven't experienced any real bugs with the Rewire support. I use Reason as my rewire slave application and have noticed that I need to kill the Reason session then relaunch Reason from the Rewire menu in Audition 2.0 if I have started a 1.5 session. Once I save this modified session everything is back as it should be. Maybe that tidbit will help someone.
