For the same reasons a Cadillac costs more than a VW......more features, smoother ride....

AA 2.0 is like a fully loaded Cadillac.

It's the pampering....it's the lush features that make it desirable.

After hearing some of the new effects presets yesterday, I'm sold on it...

If money were no object, would you prefer to drive a stripped out vw or a fully loaded Cadillac Huh?

A 212MB sample session included in the tryout download is certainly a good start.

A-ha. What a shame Adobe couldn't provide a straightforward evaluation copy for those of us still labouring on a 64k ISDN connection. Knock out 212MB and I'd consider giving it a shot, but there's no way I'm even going to try the current download size...

I was certainly glad that when I moved house last year, I got a 1.5Mbps ADSL connection at the new house instead of the 512kbps connection we had at our old place.  The tryout downloaded smoothly in less than an hour, in Firefox too (for whoever had mentioned not using Firefox earlier).  I noticed that while the description on the tryout page refers to AA2.0, the picture on the page is still of the 1.5 box.   smiley
